The first International Workshop on Unconventional IoT applications (Un-IoT 2023) is taking place in conjuntion with IEEE Globecom 2023 in the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
IoT is experiencing a dramatic growth in recent years, leading to different interaction paradigms between people and their environment. In this sense, we can already see many useful application areas like Smart Cities, environmental monitoring, connected logistics, smart digital supply chains, healthcare, smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance, and smart power grids. Yet, more unconventional solutions could be devised with the support of IoT-related technologies, for example, to interconnect the real and the virtual worlds of the Metaverse. Thus, in this workshop, we seed to receive quality research works that address novel application areas for IoT, and promote a fruitful discussion towards future trends of IoT technologies.
