GLOBECOM 2023 invites proposals for research prototype demonstrations.

The Demo sessions of GLOBECOM 2023 is a high-profile, leading-edge forum for researchers and engineers in the field of communications. The Demo sessions create a unique opportunity to showcase the recent developments in the field through tangible demonstrations of systems, applications, services, and solutions. That is also an opportunity to engage with a highly skilled and innovating audience and discuss emerging technologies and recent research prototypes with key thought leaders. We are welcoming demonstrations showcasing prototypes, innovative applications, groundbreaking ideas, and novel concepts related to communications technologies, principles, and concepts.

Demo proposals must be described in a presentation (slide style) PDF file following the appropriate templates and uploaded to EDAS. Each proposal is expected to include at least: (i) IT infrastructure required for the demo and (ii) a link to a video of the authors demoing the proposal. Authors are expected to describe the demonstration in details, then the selection committee can be able to review each proposal accordingly. Demo proposals will be peer-reviewed and the accepted ones will be presented to GLOBECOM 2022 delegates.

GLOBECOM 2023 will provide to each accepted Demo a kit for presentation composed of:

• A table desk
• A cable internet connection
• A 35’ screen for projections

Any additional equipment shall be provided by the author of the demo during the demo sessions.

Demo proposals should be submitted via EDAS submission system using this link.

For each accepted demo, at least one author is required to register for the GLOBECOM 2022 main conference (non-student, at least one day in-person registration) and present their demo at the scheduled demo session(s). The registration category must cover the presence of the author at the demo session.
